Earn from property visits near you
Nigerians abroad are building houses and buying land at home, and they need someone reliable to go and look. If you know your area and have an Android phone, you can do these visits with the Groundproof app.
What a visit involves
- Go to the property and open the Groundproof app.
- Take 1 to 4 photos from the spots the app shows you, and add a short note.
- The app checks the location and sends everything to the owner. A visit usually takes 10 to 15 minutes on site.
Who we're looking for
- Surveyors, estate agents, builders, corps members and anyone reliable who knows their area
- An Android phone with a working camera and GPS (the app works with no signal and uploads later)
- Happy to be on time and honest about what you see
Build a record that wins you work
Every visit you make is checked against the building's NIPOST postcode, GPS and photos. Verified visits build a public track record on your own Groundproof profile, like 38 visits, 36 verified, 0 flagged. Owners can see it before they pick someone, and new owners in your area are offered to the reporters with the best record first. See the reporters list.
The rules
- Charge within Groundproof's price range for your state. The agreed price is the full price.
- No extra charges (transport, data, "logistics") unless the owner agrees in writing first.
- Do every visit in the Groundproof app, at the property. Never send old photos or fake a visit.
- Turn up when you said you would, or tell the owner in good time.
- For 12 months after Groundproof introduces you to an owner, do all your visits for them through Groundproof, not around it.
- Breaking these rules gets you removed from Groundproof.
Pay
You set your price per visit inside Groundproof's range for your state, and owners pay you directly. We're growing the network area by area, so we'll contact you when an owner near you needs someone.
